National Heaters Industries Co. (NHI) is a part of the reputed Omar Zawawi Establishment (OMZEST) group of companies. NHI has distinction of winning the prestigious His Majesty’s Cup Award three times (2003,2004 & 2008) for the best five manufacturing companies ; and four times winner of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry certification (2001,2002, 2005 & 2006) . NHI brands (Hotex) present one of the classic Omani success stories.

NHI has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certifications; G-mark certificate (a prestigious certificate complying with very stringent standards) and Emirates Quality mark.

Primarily NHI deals with two manufacturing business segments such as storage type Electric Water Heaters and Steel Fabrication. . NHI manufactures state-of-the-art Glass Lined, Galvanized Iron, Copper and Special electric water heaters. Water heaters are manufactured in a wide range of capacities, sizes, mounting options etc. and are sold under the brand name of Hotex, Sunex, Al Watani, Gulfex, Shoalex, Innovex, Explorex and Nihon. The company under the brand ‘Hotex Steel’ fabricates HDG, GI and powder-coated galvanised cable trays, trunkings, channels, cable ladders and full range of accessories for cable management system. There is one trading segment where Water Purifier, Refrigerator, Air Conditioners, Chest Freezers, dispensers are imported under the brand name “Coolex”.

From a modest beginning in 1983, the company has grown to become one of the leading manufacturers of electric water heaters in Middle East. The water heaters are exported to GCC countries, Iran, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Algeria, Jordan and Morocco. NHI is one of the top three market leaders in Middle East.

NHI’s products conform to local & international standards such as Omani, Kuwaiti, Saudi Arabian, Singapore and international electrotechnical commission (IEC) specification etc.

NHI operates its factory in Rusayl Industrial Estate, Oman and has become a trusted leader for last three decades with a strong reputation for its quality and reliability.
